In 2009, Mark and a couple of his fellow AGE members formed a quasi-biker club called "Age'd Porkchops" ("Wild Hogs" having already been taken) and headed northwest.  They put 3,330 miles on the pickup and trailer and 1,600 miles on the bikes, and were on the road most of September.  In the process, they rode their Harleys through Rocky Mountain National  Park, Estes Park, Craters of the Moon, Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks - and had so much fun, in fact, that it now is a planned annual event.

In September 2010 the "Aged Porkchops" rode their motorcycles this time - covering 2,400 miles through Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska and South Dakota on their "Ride to the Heads" journey to see Mount Rushmore.  In the process, they visited Deadwood, Sturgis, Crazy Horse Monument, Wind Cave, the Badlands, the Black Hills, and Custer State Park....conquering Pig Tail Bridge Road...and relaxing at the Coyote Blue B&B.  They had a wonderful time, despite their sore butts.

In November 2010 was the Aged Porkchops' Ride to the Bend....the Big Bend region of Texas.  This time only Bill accompanied Mark, with near disastrous results.  Bill wrecked out his bike thirty miles short of Terlingua, and got an ambulance and air ambulance ride to a couple of different hospitals before limping home with his tail between his legs.  Luckily, he's a tough bird, and just had a lot of scrapes and bruises.  His bike, however, wasn't so lucky.  Anyone want to buy a good used cheap motorcycle?

In March 2011 a new motorcycle gang was formed (since Bill is still sans motorcycle) with some new, eager members.  The group soon became known as the "Wild Sheep", named after the group's unofficial mascot, an inflatable sheep.  This time the ride was to Bandera, Texas in the Texas hill country with several trips to the 11th Street Cowboy Bar.

Thanks to gang member "Little Buckaroo" running interference with the Highway Patrol, the group managed to have a safe and enjoyable motorcycle journey - and are planning their next trip to ride the Talihena Parkway....or Bandera...or Palo Duro Canyon....or San Diego (their ultimate destination).
